Tribbles, Twain and Too Many Bodies in the Bucket is a funny, frenetic and fairly philosophical true story, filled with belly laughs and tears, about what happened after I found a long-lost Life List. I love this manuscript, and if you like the writing style in my already-published book, you will love it, too (and this one is much, much funnier). (My hubby finally gets his big, starring role!)

Life Sentences (Adult Fiction/78,000 words/complete)

Mommy Lit meets the Mafia, and that’s the least of this family’s problems! Five days, three points of view and one central tragedy add up to a family that’s whacked. Through a fast-moving, highly visual plot filled with humor and poignancy, Life Sentences appeals to suburban men trapped in jobs they hate for reasons they barely remember; women with dreams they hardly recognize anymore; and anyone who grew up with a distorted sense of “normal.” I have a really unique publishing/marketing idea about this project (honestly--something that has never been done before) that I'd love to discuss with you.

Spokesgirl (Young Adult Fiction/40,000 words/complete)

Spokesgirl is about an unlikely hero--a smart, sassy, 16-year-old one-legged cancer survivor who learns to ride a unicycle (yes, it's possible) and puts a new spin on her life and the lives of those around her. In the process, she exposes the hidden handicaps in everyday relationships and the rewards of facing the fear of loss, and the fear of truly living, head on. Packed with colorful characters, an edgy voice and a fast-moving plot, Spokesgirl will grip teenage girls with its universal themes of love, friendship and the power of believing in yourself.
